Adverse effects of vaccines include: fever, chills, sore injection site, and redness of injection site.

Treatment

Symptomatic treatment for mild reactions with acetaminophen (Tylenol) and/or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications/NSAIDs (ibuprofen/Motrin or Advil, naproxen/Naprosyn or Aleve).
